happy birthday to my love!

today is his 25th birthday!

and i love him!

and he's the greatest!

he's also at work.  sad face.

we had his party on sunday, so that could partake in WRESTLEMANIA (because we're cool like that).  and i got to set up a party and food and we made a cake and it was so fun!  i like to have people over and hand out drinks and be a cute little homemaker type lady.

we had a lot of fun, watched sweaty men fight each other (oh, and undertaker vs triple h?  love it.  ended like a disney movie, what more could i wish for!), and then played nerd games and hung out until the wee hours of the morning (bedtime happened at about 6:30 am).

downside is going to have to be WAY too much food.  my tummy was sore from being so stuffed. . .so it's treadmill all week for me, starting once my iPod is fully charged!

(also thinking about making one more birthday treat, only way less calories:  some tasty vanilla meringues.  om nom nom!)

a work-y blog.

got good news today from the personnel lady at walmart!

after all these months of working third shift and about two months after requesting a change, she finally has me set up for a cashier job DURING THE DAY.

you do not know how amazing this is.

I WILL BE AWAKE IN THE SUNLIGHT.

I WILL SLEEP AT NIGHT.

LIKE A NORMAL PERSON.

I WILL CAPSLOCK UNTIL MY JOY SUBSIDES.

bad new, of course, always comes with good news.  the bad news is that she is still trying to replace me on third shift.  she's interviewed three people and none of them worked out.  hopefully she's not telling them they would be working apparel, because most people know that that area is HELL IN WALMART it always has too much freight and never enough people to run it.  there are two other people on third who threatened to quit after working apparel for awhile and we given new jobs and never asked to do it again.  that's how bad it it.  it's so bad that everyone knows how bad it is and will give you a new job if you threaten them.

i told shelley that this was fine, because at least i now have hope.  there is a light at the end of my row of apparel carts.

it's been a while bloggy.  it's too hard keeping up with two blogs, plus i was basically just double tracking all my food, so my fat blog is pretty much defunct.  but that means i have more incentive to blog here to my bloggy friends!  :D

any way, today is officially. . .

this picture is totally crazy but look at my skinny face!

my mom (who has always been the skinniest of the three) has been emptying her closet to me all day, i have a whole garbage bag full of pants and shirts to take home with me!  i'll say i've gone down a whole size (from 24 to 22) but mom did give me a pair of size 20 capris that fit really well, so i guess it depends on the kind of pants they are.  

anyway, i was just so excited i had to tell you!
